TDEE Lab is a static calculator website. The calculators run in your browser and do not require an account.

Calculator inputs

Calculator inputs are processed client-side. TDEE Lab does not intentionally upload calculator inputs to a server. The Open macros control passes values in a URL fragment (the part after #). That fragment is processed in your browser and is not part of the page request sent to the server. It can remain in browser history or a copied link. Older links that contain calculator values after ? are still supported; those query values are sent with the page request.

Local storage

If you save a TDEE profile or theme preference, it is stored in your browser localStorage on the same device. You can clear it through the browser or by using the clear profile control where available.

Accounts

TDEE Lab does not currently have accounts, sign-in, subscriptions, or a backend user database.

Analytics

TDEE Lab uses Vercel Web Analytics for aggregated page-view statistics. Vercel states that this service records anonymous data, does not use third-party cookies, and does not track a visitor across different websites or days. Aggregated dimensions can include the page path, referrer, approximate location, browser, operating system, and device type. TDEE Lab does not send calculator form entries as custom analytics events. Advertising

Advertising scripts are not enabled at this time. Before ads are enabled, this policy and the site's consent controls will be updated as required for the advertising services and regions involved.
